Mörg börn og aðrir vegfarendur sem ganga/hjóla þarna í gegn og er umferðaröryggi þeirra ógnað verulega á þessum stað, t.d. með mikilli umferð og með alltof háu grindverki á horni Birkivalla/Rauðholts er því erfitt að sjá komandi umferð.
